Anne Dugan

Anne Dugan is an independent curator and teaches art history at the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Wisconsin Superior. She is the director for the Kruk Gallery on the UWS campus. Dugan is the founder and co director of the internationally recognized Free Range Film Festival, which she founded in 2004. Before her current positions, she served for seven years at the Duluth Art Institute (DAI) as curator and director. While at the DAI, Dugan presented more than 80 contemporary visual arts exhibits, some of which went on to travel nationally and receive recognition in publications such as Hyperallergenic. Her background is in art history and new media studies, and she holds a master’s degree from Columbia University.
