Patricia Canelake lives and works in Knife River, Minnesota with her partner Frank Sander. She is a painter and a printmaker and is assisting in the operations of The Little Knife Sanctuary Artist Residency. She was included in the 2015 Minnesota Biennial Exhibition at the Museum of Minnesota Art and her work is in permanent collections at the Tweed Museum of Art, Arrowhead Regional Arts Association, private collections and The Department of the Interior, United States. She has received two McKnight Foundation Fellowships, Jerome Foundation Travel and Study Grants, Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Fellowships, and Arrowhead Regional Arts Council awards.
